    Leave Them Laughing

(scroll to the very end of this trailer to see the balloon-deck scene shot at Skyhouse)

The documentary film, Leave Them Laughing, is about Carla Zilbersmith who taught drama at the College of Marin for many years before she was stricken with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS disease, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It was directed by Academy award-winner John Zaritsky and has already debuted at several film festivals in Canada--where Zilbersmith was born-- but this will be its first premiere showing in the U.S. Zaritsky was inspired to make the movie after reading a blog that Zilbersmith wrote during her battle with the disease.
